Counting down the days, where have those past months gone?? Reasonably happy with the training...not great distances but settled into my 31km training circuit and knock it off in just over two hours. I figure the longest day in Vietnam is about four of those. Back to Back. In the heat of the day. Hmmm. Looking forward to those rest days.

The Coker has undergone a transformation since Laos...adding the touring handle necessitated changing to a rail adapter, and in turn the seatpost and frame. Whoa, with a 30" inseam on tippy-toes I then lopped off most of the post and a good chunk of the frame but all seems to run sweet and survive the odd UPD. Started adding Magura brakes and wrecked the touring handle in the process. Have given up on brakes for Vietnam, hell isn't it supposed to be flat? Replaced the touring handle, added speedo/odometer and treated my butt to a groovy new seat. Switched to 125's but probably taking 150's for variety. New tube and tyre tonight, other than that it's all standard.
